Still Here, Still Becoming

2026 begins quietly for me.

Not with declarations,
but with presence.

These are moments I carried with me
throughout 2025 and never released.
Not because they were unfinished,
but because they asked for time.

Faces passing through light.
Hands pausing mid-gesture.
Lives unfolding without announcement.

Urban streets hold more than movement.
They hold memory, tension, tenderness, fatigue, resolve.
They hold people becoming, often unseen.

This series is not a look back.
It is an offering forward.

Black and white, not to remove colour,
but to listen more closely.
Urban life is not loud when you really listen.
It hums.
It breathes.
It holds.

And as the year turns,
I remain here;
learning how to see more gently,
more truthfully,
more human.

We are always in between.
Between where we were
and who we are becoming.

We walk corridors not knowing
who walked them before us,
yet trusting the floor will hold,
trusting the light will return.

Love is not always loud.
Sometimes it is simply direction.
A handrail.
A sign.
A path that keeps going
even when we are tired.

These spaces are not empty.
They are full of quiet courage;
people choosing to move,
choosing to stay gentle,
choosing hope without applause.

Every step is a small act of faith.
Every journey, a blessing in motion.

And even when the destination is unclear,
love keeps us walking forward.
